Telford based oil mist collectors manufacturer Filtermist is delighted to announce that it has appointed Prima Filtertehnika as a distributor in Slovenia.
Established in 2009 and located in Medvode, Prima Filtertehnika supplies a wide range of filter consumables used in industrial, process fluid filtration, medical and HVAC applications. It also operates an air handling division which provides dust and oil mist extraction systems predominantly for manufacturers with small volumes where a portable unit is ideal, or those with large scale requirements which call for extraction units with substantial airflows.
Prima has added Filtermist oil mist collectors to its product portfolio to bridge the gap in its range and enable it to offer an effective oil mist removal solution for customers with small to medium sized applications.

International Distributor Manager Matthew Pearson, elaborates, Manufacturing markets in Slovenia offer significant potential for Filtermist. Ensuring workplace air is clean and free from oil mist not only protects workers health, it also reduces slip and fire risks, and protects sensitive electrical equipment from the damaging effects of oil mist ingression.
Having identified Prima Filtertehnika as a potential distributor, Filtermist worked closely with the DIT (Department of International Trade) to arrange a series of meetings to discuss the benefits of the two companies working together.
The DIT was extremely supportive. We originally contacted our local advisor Richard Smith who arranged a meeting with his counterpart from Slovenia at our office in Telford to discuss our requirements in more detail, continues Matthew.
We then took part in a trade mission to Slovenia which included networking opportunities and short meetings with five potential distributors. Prima Filtertehnika was one of the companies we met during this event and stood out as the best fit for Filtermist thanks to its industry experience, filtration focused business model and the fact that it offers comprehensive after sales support including service and maintenance.
